Damper and Griddle Scones
2 Cups flour
2 tsps baking powder
1 tsp salt
Combine ingredients, adding sufficient warm water to form a firm dough.
To make damper - wrap 2 tablespoons dough around a clean, dampened stick. Hold over hot coals, turning so as not to burn, until cooked, about 10 minutes.
To make scones - roll dough to 5mm thick and cut in triangles. Sprinkle some flour in a frying pan; tip out excess. Heat over hot coals and cook scones, turning to avoid burning - about 10 minutes. Serve with butter and Forage Organic Forest Honey.
