Poached Pears
1 cup caster sugar
3 cups water
4 Comice pears, peeled
1/2 cup Forage Blackcurrant and Apple Glaze
Dissolve the sugar in the water. Poach the pears in the syrup for 30 minutes. Leave to cool in the syrup overnight. Remove and drain well. Pour a tablespoon of Forage Blackcurrant and Apple Glaze over each pear. Serve with a sable biscuit and dollop of mascarpone on the side.
